The Code of Conduct for Principal
The Principal is the top executive post of the college. Naturally, the principal is supposed to be the guardian and the administrator of the college. The Principal is the chain between the government and the college. It is therefore necessary for the principal that the government rules must be followed in the college. In case of violation of a government rule, the principal is solely responsible. So the principal is in the capacity of a supervisor. He should continuously supervise the working of the college and make it sure that everything is done according to the rules laid down by U.G.C. and the government. It is the duty of the principal to select a right man for a particular work and the must not unnecessary generate fear among the teachers and the staff. It is the duty of principal to create an atmosphere of goodwill and teamwork for the quantitative development of college.
Principal should have all the moral and behavioral character of a teacher and educator.
