Yoga Center


Sakaldiha P.G. College is very much concerned about the health and hygiene of students. Yoga has good remedy for different diseases. It is well said that prevention is better than cure. The regular practice of yoga helps in keeping our body healthy and disease free. Moreover, the practice of yoga develops immunity system among students. So, students are advised to practice some yogasans at their homes. That is why a yoga center is established in college campus for the maintenance of our student’s good health.

The in-charge of yoga center is Dr. Indrajeet Singh, Assit. Professor in B.Ed. On Friday and Saturday yoga classes are held and some useful yoga asans are practiced. The yoga trainer displays some asans before the students for their understanding and convenience.. It is quite encouraging that a large number of girl students also participate in yoga classes and they take much interest also.
